For some reason, July has never been my favourite month in the year. I don’t know why, so please don’t ask, because if you do I’ll scratch my head and say, honestly, “I have no idea!” : ) Anyway … this year July is buzzing!
“The Abolitionist” is nearly finished. I’m hoping to share some pictures and a “real” extract soon, but now … ? I need to write, write, write!
And speaking of writing … I’ve been invited to join the YLCF team of writers! Can I say I’m honoured and thrilled? I’ve written a few posts for YLCF over the last eighteen months or so, but I didn’t expect to be asked to join the team of writers – the invitation was a (lovely!) surprise! I’m excited to be working with such a committed, godly team of writers! I’ll be posting there now as well as here “at home” at Hope Scribbles. I’m not sure how my www life will change, but I think it WILL change – and that’s good. Watch this space! : )
For now, it’s summer and I’m living it up (in a good way!), so posts may be sporadic while I’m busy with family and friends and books and letters and … well … LIFE in July!

It’s beautiful there in July. I think July is one of my favorite months but perhaps that is because it means it’s really summer here and it also means my birthday. Which I may or may not be looking forward to =D
